Ingredients

  • 3 ea cardamom pods crushed
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened black cherry juice
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 3/4 tsp black peppercorns
  • 1 ea dry bay leaf
  • 1/2 ea cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Place the cherries in a wide mouthed mason jar. Bring red wine vinegar, black cherry juice, honey, black peppercorns, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, sea salt and cardamom pods to a boil in a stainless steel pan. Pour the mixture over the cherries. Seal and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. Enjoy on salads, cheese platters, or your favorite mocktail!
